I found the solution. I went to this site previously but didn’t think it was working because it appeared to be installing the entire Office product. It turns out it was only installing or at least only making available to run for free the latest version of OneNote. Go to the following Microsoft web site and click on “Windows Desktop”. It will download the 32 bit OneNote Desktop and I believe it is the version. Disregard the fact that it gives one the impression it is installing the entire Office product.
I guess it might be downloading it I really don’t know , but it only installs and makes available the OneNote app. Threats include any threat of suicide, violence, or harm to another. Any content of an adult theme or inappropriate to a community web site. Any image, link, or discussion of nudity. Any behavior that is insulting, rude, vulgar, desecrating, or showing disrespect.
Any behavior that appears to violate End user license agreements, including providing product keys or links to pirated software. Unsolicited bulk mail or bulk advertising. Any link to or advocacy of virus, spyware, malware, or phishing sites.

Unfortunately, I did something stupid and accidentally uninstalled it. I’ve been looking everywhere to find the site to download it. I keep getting into the site where it takes me to the online version of OneNote, saying I already have OneNote installed on my Windows 10 laptop.
It is true, I have a version of OneNote installed on my Windows 10 laptop because I believe the tablet version comes free with Windows However, I don’t like the user interface of the tablet version.
I am a home user and don’t need additional capability of my Office Home and Student , except that I want to upgrade to OneNote since previously it was free.
